Pros and cons of Psych Drugs & Medications: Psychiatric Meds Guide app for iPhone and iPad

Psych Drugs & Medications: Psychiatric Meds Guide app good for

This is a very informative app on the most common psychoactive drugs, with generic names, daily doses, side effects, and more.
It cant be a bad app. The only thing to improve is to put categories for drugs, its easier to search...
Highly recommended app for a quick info, app has a huge data base and accurate drugs info.Good job !
This is a good quick reference source for students taking Psychology courses.
I work in a group home and this is very helpful when a clients asked about their medication! It would be neat to include a picture maybe of the drug also
I agree with other reviews that there are improvements and updates that could be made, but all in all, Im pretty impressed. Pictures, cross interactions, and common off-label uses would be amazing. Also, definitely a few common meds (such as Intuniv) are missing, so an update would be nice. Still, cant complain!

Some bad moments

MINIMAL info!!! Great concept but the amount of information given renders this app useless. Broaden to at least include administering dose instructions. Things like, take with food, do not drive, do not take within 2 hours of other medications, list any vitamins, cold meds, antacids (etc.) that may not mix well together. There is so much more general info that could easily be included! I will know delete.....
Oh no! In this era of raised awareness of the side effects of psych drugs it is surprising to see someone create an app which gives no warnings of what these drugs can do. Mr. Quach, the "curious layman" will be looking at these data and they are completely lacking in what the layman (or anyone) needs to know before they take the risk of getting involved in psych drugs. A legal waiver is no excuse.
They may have a lot of information on here, but they are missing some very common drugs and the information on several of them is completely inaccurate. So its not necessarily a trustworthy app.
Easy to navigate but only has one function - finding drugs by name. It would be nice if you could search by class or some other method. The drug list is far from comprehensive and the explanations are quite limited. With this said, the app is free so I cant bee too disappointed.
Has an extensive list of psychiatric drugs but only provides a very brief description of each. (Name, what it treats, some possible side effects) its quick and easy. If you want a more in depth description and possible interactions, Id choose a different app
